Yamaya Tatami Shop is a tatami mat maker and shop in Yamashiro Onsen, Kaga City, Ishikawa Prefecture, that has been around for 120 years. Guests can try making their own mini tatami mats, featuring their choice of edging from over 100 options. The store also offers special Kaga-exclusive edging designs, available only here.
