Art space extends in the forest

There are an art museum and a restaurant in the forest which is the birthplace of Echizen roof tile. Themed modern art exhibitions are held there season to season. While strolling through the forest, visitors can appreciate over 10 pieces of modern art which dot the forest.
The glass workshop is one of the best equipped facilities in Japan. Visitors can experience glass blowing and sand blasting as well as tour the production site. The art craft workshop offers courses in pottery, batik dyeing, and bamboo work.
